Hi, I am Heidi Schwandt Garner and welcome to my gallery. This is how I see the world, the magic around me, everywhere. Light, life and colour.

I am a self taught artist living in a small country town near Latrobe Valley, Vic. Australia.
As early as I can remember I have had a love of animals and nature and a love for drawing them. I feel the need to paint the amazing beauty of all things natural around me. Doing commissioned animal portraits has been a hobby for over 25 years until 2006 when I turned it into a business.
I use many different mediums including colour pencils, pastel and acrylic paint. I work from my home based studio.

Other interests are my motorbikes, 2 horses, 2 dogs and a cat.
